I do kinda like the monkey, but if you don't it, then don't go for it!!!
Bunnies are cute, to me, and if you want to be in a family later on, then you can.
Seals are awesome because you get to go in water and land! And they are also so cute.
Wolves, um, you get into fights more, but they are the most popular nm animal.
Penguins are just like seals, you get to go in water and land!
Koalas are funny(as in haha)! I recommend those too.
Also, you get to choose another animal when you're in the
tutorial in Animal Jam.

Have you been taken to a 'Create a name'?
Well, you have a few options!
You get to either make one yourself, or randomly get one by pressing the:
<'thing'.I would choose a name that makes sense. Not like Jumping MajorKoala if your not a Koala. Or even Major MajorMajor if your a small animal.Its just weird... since I'm a bunny, I chose Fuzzy SunnyAnimal. If I was a wolf I'd choose Awesome ShiverPaw. Using last names with Paw are awesome, to me. And with Blossom as a first name is cool, my brothers' name is Captain Stinkyfeet. LOLOLOLOL. If you want you can choose the name, [choose a first name] Grandpaw. I once chose a seal as Enchanting SunnyPaw, but I changed it. Seals do NOT have paws... or do they? I changed Enchanting SunnyPaw to Enchanting SunnyPride. Now that I think of it, any Koalas', Monkeys, Seals and Penguins I get, I'd have a bright name for my animal. Like [awesome name you chose] Sunny[another name you chose]. Not like Daredevil ArticWolf, I'd rather have Infinty CottonStar, well, choose a name and live with it :) Now, you'd be taken to a place to put your Birthdate, you're chosen username and password, and later on, your/your parents' email. So, I'd choose a name with any 2 words together, I chose Fire and Blaze at first, and some random numbers, 1, 2, 5 and 4. Fireblaze1254. My old one was Sarah, and Jungwin, no numbers, so it made Sarahjungwin but Animal Jam changed it. This time, I'm using Pinky, and Splatter, pinkysplatter. Okay, and I don't need numbers. But if I did, I would use 8, 9, and 0, which would be pinkysplatter089. Nah. I choose a smart password like a very private thing and two or three random numbers. And thats my password. But now, I'm gonna use 3 words together and my favourite number and a random colour. Hard password, eh? Make it easy to remember. Thats now done. Press Next at the bottom.
You are taken to a page which asks for you parents' email\your email. Do a real email, just in case if you get membership, you'd get the right stuff. Then press next. 
Press 'I Agree', but you MUST agree on this. Press next. 
Now, choose a World. Look! Another tutorial. Don't skip it unless you totally know, because I don't know if you can go back to the tutorial again.When you're done, choose what you would like to do next. I recommend you go to your den, a.k.a house. Go to a table and a book . Press it. Now,

Choose what you want from it and it'll show up! Decorate your house with your table and mat. 

To buy another item, press where the red circle is showing. You'll have 1000 gems, but you buy another animal instead if you want:

Okay. Now, for the clothing bits:

How to get to the Clothes Inventory: 

Press this: 

You will show as 'New Jammer' for 1 day, or a few hours. Im not sure...

Now, press your face(...does that sound right?).

Up will come a customize box!

There is a shop sign there too. Click it.

And look for an item for nonmembers, and that you'd like,  and maybe cheap. All the nonmember items in Jam Mart:

Now, lemme show you ways to design a personal design on your animal:

The first box of colours are the main part of your animal!

The second box of colours are a different part. They are different on most animals

Want to change your eye style, or colour?

Here are all the colours and styles:

Choose a colour you like and you've finished the eyes,

It'll take you to some patterns.

Choose a pattern and navigate with the arrows.
